Do you know that majority of the molested, assaulted and raped woman in Nigeria just lay down there, allowing their attacker(s) do with them as they wish without fighting back?
Apart from the fact that there is no rule of order in the Nigerian society that would deal with these assailants if ever reported, I guess these victims are mostly just intimidated by our 'women degrading' culture, that has with time reduced our women to mere objects.
Another issue that is mind blowing is the attention these women get if at all they dare go report this crimes. Most of the time they are treated as if they are the criminals and not the victims. Imagine after being raped a police officer that is supposed to offer you mental and psychological support is asking you questions like "what kind of clothing were you wearing when you were attacked, was your skirt too short, or was your dress revealing" ?
As if whatever the women wear determines if they get molested raped or assaulted!
At this point , women need to start fighting back strongly since it is obvious violence against women is not a priority to the Nigerian government. Even if eventually your attacker is still going to succeed in having his way with you, by figthing back, you might as well succeed in scratching his face, breaking his nose or breaking one or both of his balls while at it!
At least then you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you just did n't take his act of cowardness lying still.
